According to a report by CABS, the British military police has inspected a large bird aviary found in the British-administered area of southern Cyprus. During this inspection 58 illegally kept birds were found.
The birds, among them 10 Chaffinches, 2 Blackcaps, 1 Robin and a whole range of Song thrushes and Wood pigeons, were released immediately.
A criminal case started against the owner of the aviary, but unfortunately it was not possible to point out the owner of glue sticks found nearby.
