On 24 October 2018 , a team from CABS found a trappin location with five 20-meter-long nets near Agia Napa in southeastern Cyprus.
Together with the hunting authorities, they tried to catch the poachers – unfortunately poachers were able to flee.
260 birds hung in the nets – attracted by several electronic luring devices. 57 animals, especially blackcaps, were already dead; about 200 birds could be released into nature
