The police was able to arrest two poachers at the end of CABS large bird protection camp: one had set 30 bowtraps west of Lake Garda.
Both trapping sites were discovered by members of CABS and reported to the officials.
During the four-week mission in Brescia, CABS reported 46 poachers, 392 bow traps (of which 123 were found during house searches), 109 nets (including 46 found during house searches) and 279 traps.
In addition, 11 shotguns, around 170 live decoys and about 2,100 frozen songbirds were confiscated
