In the Famagusta district in southeastern Cyprus, a CABS team discovered a particularly large trap with 274 lime rods.
It is by far the largest find of this autumn (see current pictures). The hunting Wardens we called were quickly on the spot and could catch the poacher in the act .
The poacher has to pay a € 2,400 fine. Two freshly caught birds (including the Sardinian warbler on the photo) could be set free again.
